I came across this photo yesterday (June 6 no less) and wanted to see if anyone recognizes the action or the boats in this photo. The PT appears to be an ELCO given its silencing mufflers on the transom. The PT hull also appears to have a light color paint. I thought it might have been the PT-199 however that was a Higgins type PT and the sinking ship the USS Corry (DD 463) but now I think not.
