While at NARA I copied this 1 September 1942 photo of Melville. Gives a great comparison size between the transportable PT-1 thru 4 experimental boats and the 77ft Elcos. Also shows the former PT-1 (C-6083) with the diagonally mounted Mark 19 tube.
