Earl It is really good to hear from you again. Our cook confiscated some dried apples, sugar and yeast from the chow hall someway. We put it in our wooden life raft keg with water for about two weeks in the hot sun. Boy that stuff was potent for a kid that had never drank much.

hey friend/ i used raisins/sugar/yeast and water in a 5 gallon dehydrated potatio can.put it out in the jungle near my tebt with only a cloth over it.fermented in about 7 days.used apricots to make the brandy and put it iin a 6 gallon water jar and let it sit for about two weeks.not bad.the alky was a little more troubledom to make. had ro f fistill it first using a h LF METAL FRUM/COILS AND FIRE.STARTED FOING ALL THIS ON ONE OF THE BASES I WAS ON//ON 5///BUT HAD SOME ARMY GUYS AND SOME AUSSIES DOING THE ALKY FOR ME,.THE ALKY H AD TO BE DILUTED WITH JUICE BEFORE YOU DRANK IT AS IT WOULDEAT OUT YOUR STOMACHE IF YOU DIDN,T.SOLD IT FOR THIRTY DOLLARS A QUART.THAT IS WHAT THE PILOTS WERE GETTING FOR THEM WHEN THEY BROUGHT THE REAL STUFF BACK FROM AUSTRLIIA OR NEW ZEALAND. BOTTOMS UP CJ AND LETS PARTY ONE MORE TIME
