Hello everyone-
I have been away from the board for awhile now, but I want to share with all of you that live in Florida, especially on the First Coast and Southern Georgia.
I will be part of a very special military history show coming up on November 13th, 2010. Here are the details-
What -The History of the American Soldier Show and Exhibition
When- Saturday November 13th, 2010
Time- 9 AM- 5 PM
Where- Fort Clinch State Park- Atlantic Ave. Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Admission- $6.00 per carload to enter the park/Fort admission is (1) canned food item per person to be donated to the Barnabas Food Panty
Details- The Celebration- The volunteers and park staff will honor American Armed Forces with fully equipped interpreters and representatives of every major conflict in which this nation has been involved. Displays of weapons, camp equipment, military vehicles and detailed scale dioramas will be provided. Period weapon firing demonstrations, both small arms and cannons, will be preformed for the public
I have been invited to display my Tulagi Base PT Boat diorama along with our WW II displays. I simply can't express in words how proud I am to have been tapped on to present at this event.
If you live in or on the First Coast or are visiting Florida next weekend, you will not want to miss this show.
