Is there an on-line location to research the daily PT Company Action reports? I am looking for the one that covers the PT-157 on the nights of July 2/3/4 1943. There should be a report in here about the 157 hitting a Jap DD.

They are all in the National Archives, Washington DC (actually in College Park, Maryland)
The Navy guy there is called Nathaniel Patch. You could write to him at:
National Archives and Records Administration.

Unfornuately my collection does not include those dates. I have June 30-1 July 1943 and 6-7 July 1943. I read an Action Report where PT-154 chased a destroyer but it out-ran him. I also read an Action Report where the destroyer out-ran the torpedo they fired at it.

Nat,
Thanks. Will do.
I'm researching the events around this time frame so I'll get a letter off to them as you suggested.
