PT 103-196 Deck Ventilators

Thanks to Dick's plan collection I was able to see some interesting details of the 103-196 forward deck vents like the damper door. The plan gives almost all of the dimensions so the drawing should be as accurate as possible. The deck location dimensions are an estimate, I couldn't find any given in the plans. I used the reference plan listed on the drawing as well as several others like cabin and ventilation system plans along with frame locations to do a best guess. For some reason, various deck plans that show hole locations for hatches and deck/dead lights don't show the vents.
Here's the types of vents used on the 80' ELCO boats according to the plans:
fixed type hood only: PT 103-196
rotary type taper sided hood only: PT 314-367, 372-383, 546-563
rotary type taper sided hood on a rounded rectangular deck box: PT 486-545, 565-624, 731-760
Note that I have a photo of the 611 that shows a different deck box near the starboard foot rail, shaped like a larger 103-196 vent facing forward. Also, vent locations changed.

Thanks Dick, it's great having the plans to work with. ELCO must have had a bunch of talented draftsmen at work. The plans I've worked with are usually very accurate as far as the outlines go.
