I had the chance to speak with Consumer Relations women Lisa Vecellio from the Zippo Company, makers of the famous Zippo Lighters. I had explained to her that nothing was really out there to represent the PT BOAT NAVY of WWII. Many people collect these lighters. I thought it would be nice to have one done in the Disney Design made famous by Walt Disney. She said that Zippo must be guareenteed a total of 50 orders before a special desogn could be made. Now, just because I like the idea does not mean others will go for it. So, do you folks think there is enough interest to garner 50 orders. I would be more then happy to be the spokesmen and go getter for the project. Whats your thoughts?

I contacted Zippo again by E Mail in regards to price per 50 and what terms Zippo intended under contract. My request to include The Mosquito Fleet was forwarded to another Department. I also forwarded several photo's of the Mosquito Fleet Emblem in different color patterns. At the moment, I am waiting for a reply. I will keep yu all posted as to the outcome of our conversations.

Thank you very much for the sheet on the Emblems. I am in hopes that we can reach that stage of having these made up. It will depend on the advance orders and of course the up front money ( if needed ) Again thanks for sharing these. They look great.
