Does anyone have a photo of the Officers Head and Radio Room on the ELCO 77'. They were located Port and Starboard, forward of the Officers Quarters and at the main bulkhead between the Officers Quarters and Crew Quarters. Either a good photo or cross section would be greatly appreciated.

| Dick, a few years ago I donated to PT Boats a 35MM film strip file of Elco's drawings. I'm pretty sure but not positive that it included 77' drawings. You'll need a film reader/printer and a patient researcher to find what you're looking for, as I don't recall them being indexed. I'm sure Alyce G will remember them. |

The only good set of interior photos of the 77 foot Elcos are at the following web site:

No shot of the officers head though. Al Ross may have some thoughts on available photographs.

I just took a look, some great shots. Three of the photos show the officers quarters looking forward towards the two area in question, but unfortunately little can be seen. Thanks again Bill nice find, appreciate it much

The only shots I have of the head are from the 80' Elco in Battleship Cove. I assume the Head was quite similar in the 77' and 80' Elco.
The shots could be found on the Photobucket Website under Battleship cove.

These are from the original ELCO plans for the first series 77' boats. Not much detail shown, but you can at least get a feeling for the size of the spaces and placement of the head equipment.
